What are cookies?
Cookies are short text files which are stored by the web pages in the devices you are accessing the internet. By using cookies it is enabled to indentify some useful information e.g. device type, operating system and others thus achieving the optimum user experiences while browsing. Why are cookies used for?
Cookies are essential for assuring the best user experience while browsing or using different service on the internet. While using cookies the interaction between web servers and user devices is plain, faster and more secure. Based on these principles it is enabled to web pages to recognize user preferences, their devices, operating systems and other relevant information which result in faster interaction and better user experience. Some examples are listed below:
• enables identification of end user devices (desktop, tablet, smart phone, … ) and adaptation of the displayed content on the end user device
